The new coveted designer on the block is Judith Leiber. Not that Leiber is new, but her designs have come to the forefront as the must have high end bag. Yet her bags are more of an art form, a piece that can be carried one or twice then put on display in your home. The designs are so meticulous, infusing thousands of crystals, that the thought of bumping this bag against anything other than a cashmere pillow makes me cringe. So while I will save up for the perfect evening Leiber piece, that will undoubtedly end up on showcase tucked away in a china cabinet, I can imagine adding these small Leiber pieces to satiate my need. Ultra tiny and cute, the Leiber Coin Purse Minaudiere will look perfectly chic being pulled out of your handbag for the evening. I would still tuck this piece away carefully, but it is so tiny and fun, that I can not resist loving it. Available in ruby, rhine (clear), or cosmo jet (black) crystals, this coin purse features silver tone hardware and a kiss lock closure with a jeweled detail top. It is a mini bag and completely not necessary, yet so cute it can make sense. Dimensions are small, like mentioned, a mere 1 3/4″H X 1 1/2″W X 1″D.

We recently had the pleasure of interviewing the fabulous Rebecca Minkoff and after getting to see more of her handbags in person I can not get enough! I ordered three bags from the Rebecca Minkoff sample sale and while I wait for those to arrive I will continue to lust after her designs until I can ease my addiction. This mini bag uses brown Italian suede which is trimmed with glazed leather and offset with brass plated hardware. The top handle has rings and a detachable shoulder strap. Rebecca’s bags are made to be used, hence are highly practical. There is an easy to reach zip pocket with flap detail on the front and inside there are three open pockets and one zip pocket. The mini’s dimensions are 6 1/2″H x 12 1/2″W x 7″D.

So much for cleaning up her act. I have no idea why some females decide that Halloween is an excuse to dress like a 2 cent hooker. Sure, it was cool when you were a freshman in college, but to continue the ‘I’m a slutty ________” is downright tacky. And Paris Hilton has tainted young girls minds, dressing as Alice from DISNEY’S! Alice in Wonderland. I mean come on, isn’t anything sacred anymore. And speaking of sacred, what on earth has this girl done to her Chanel Perforated White Jumbo Flap Handbag??? GASP! Such a lovely piece has been used and abused, showing significant wear, tear, and dirt all over it. I understand that a handbag is meant to be worn, but give your bag just a little respect. Then again, when you are used to spending someone else’s money everyday in large quantities, money really has no value to you. I’m just going to keep shaking my head at this girl, and asking her to give me her handbags that she plans on ruining before they are ruined. I promise to take care of them!
